London based Artist Viktor Victoria first emerged during the rise of Electro Clash in the early noughties. A unique performer with a defiantly non conforming gender identity and a striking stage act, Viktor quickly became one of the scenes most noted performers, touring in London, Belgium, Paris and New York.
Viktor went on to sign with a number of independent labels in London, which led to their song ‘Dreamy Eyes’ being released on the ‘Kashpoint’ compilation album, a showcase of the scenes most popular artists.
Viktor’s music marries their love of electro and dance with classic pop, and they have worked with a host of different producers and writers including Leigh Bowery’s musical partner Richard Torry and Russell Lissack of Bloc Party.
Viktor launched ’T-Party’ a nightclub for the Transgender community in 2012 and it ran successfully into 2016, when Viktor founded a vocal group of the same name. The T-Party music project has had much success within the LGBTQ community, and the group went on to win Best vocal group at the LGBT Sparkle Awards in 2017, hosted in Manchester.
Viktor has also maintained a career as a Makeup Artist and became in demand behind the scenes, working with other musicians such as Peaches, Florence & the Machine and for photographers & magazines such as Juergen Teller and ID.
Viktor recently launched their own makeup brand for the LGBTQ+ community called ‘Dream in Colour’ which raises money for Queer and Trans charities.
During lockdown in 2020, Viktor began work on new music as well as revisiting some unreleased tracks, and has put together a new album of modern dance pop featuring the iconic Princess Julia, Sharon Le Grand and T-Party, with remixes from some of London’s most loved queer DJ’s such as Super Drama and Butch Queen. Set to be released in 2022, 'Dream out Loud' marks a new chapter for Viktor Victoria!
